Mulberry, Florida – Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County is excited to invite the community to the groundbreaking ceremony for the much-anticipated Mulberry Teen Center. Join us on Wednesday, February 12th, at 12 p.m. at 301 NE Fifth St, Mulberry, FL 33860, as we celebrate this significant milestone.
This new facility represents a major step forward in our mission to provide local youth with essential support and resources. Designed to meet the evolving needs of teens in our community, the Mulberry Teen Center will offer a welcoming space where young people can access opportunities that shape their futures.
With plans for a computer lab, a barbershop, a salon, a fully functional kitchen, expanded workforce readiness areas, and dedicated recreational spaces, the center will serve as a hub for learning, personal growth, and connection.
The ceremony will feature remarks from key community leaders and Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County executives, recognizing the collaborative effort that made this project a reality. Additionally, the event will highlight how the center will enhance the impact of the Wogan S. Badcock Jr. Club at Purcell Elementary, allowing us to reach and serve even more youth.
This transformative project is made possible through the generous support of the State of Florida, local government, business partners, and dedicated donors. We look forward to celebrating this exciting moment with you!
