Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County is always looking for caring, dedicated staff to work with and serve as role models for our members. Applicants should have a strong desire to work with kids ages 6+ in supportive and active environments. Available Positions

Enrichment Instructors

Program Instructors work directly with members facilitating enrichment activities and assisting teaching staff during academic activities. Must be able to manage a group of approximately 20-25 kids at a time. (approx. 3 hours daily, up to 8 hours daily during summer program)

Pay Range: $11.00 – $12.00)

Bus Driver

Transports students from school to club.

Pay Range: $12 – 17

Teacher 

Teachers must hold a teaching certificate through the state of Florida. Teachers work directly with members creating and facilitating fun, hands-on academic activities that align with Polk County curriculum maps in the areas of English Language Arts, Math and Science. Academic project activities will maintain a 1:10 ratio. Teachers will be required to refine curriculum based on student needs, performance and feedback.

Pay Range: $20 – $25

Summer Instructors

Program Instructors work directly with members facilitating enrichment activities and assisting teaching staff during academic activities. Must be able to manage a group of approximately 20-25 kids at a time. (approx. 3 hours daily, up to 8 hours daily during summer program) (Pay Range: $9.00 – $10.00)

Tutors

Tutors will provide small group tutoring services to assist with IEP/GEPA required needs. Tutors will provide targeted intervention service, and prescriptive based tutoring per IEP recommendation. Teaching certificate is preferred but other qualifications will be considered. (Pay Range: $10 – 15)

Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County as they seek to widen and strengthen this bridge to serve an additional 8,000 children. Along with the more than 3,000 children served annually, over the next five years our bridge will be expanded to serve 10,000 children annually.
